Name: Rickie Haywood-Williams aka Rickster aka Rookie MC

Rickie is currently a presenter on leading youth Radio Station, Kiss 100-London. He does this alongside his best friend and presenting partner, Melvin Odoom.
Music has always played a big part in Rickie's Career. Working in Production at 1Xtra, BBC and Radio 1 he has worked with the likes of Trevor Nelson, Rampage, DJ Spoony, Semtex and Colin and Edith just to name few. Rickie is also a part of the myspace revolution and presents for the 'Hook-up'  which is part of the Myspace UK Division. More recently, Rickie has been cast as one of the New 'faces' of MTV, presenting MTV NEWS across the network. 

Music Style:
With a love of Jungle, Drum N Bass and of course Old Skool Garage, Rickie's DJ'in style is very Dance orientated. Expect to hear all types of house music in one of Rickie's sets along with Broken Beat, RnB and Hip Hop with a strong flava for UK Music.  

Why did you start Hosting and DJing:
I got into the Hosting and DJing game as a Garage MC. At 17, buying records and decks was too expensive so I decided to go for the cheaper option and be a mic man instead. Now-a-days people send me music so i can blagg being a dj much easier

Favourite Food:
West Indian cuisine - My mums in particular. Favourite Dish - Rice and Peas, Fried Fish, Hard Food and of course, Maccaroni and Cheese!
